With just a few months to go, preparations are gathering pace for the EU Cross-Border E-commerce Forum (EU CBEC) 2026, which is expected to be the biggest edition of the event so far.
Organised by Liège Airport/CARGOLAND, the forum will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Liège from 8 to 10 September 2026. More than 1,000 people have already registered, including representatives from over 300 companies, 60 airlines, more than 100 freight forwarders, shippers and industry media.
According to Frédéric Brun, Head of Commercial Cargo & Logistics at Liège Airport, this year’s event has already reached a record number of registrations and will bring together many of the biggest names in air cargo and cross-border e-commerce.
Over three days, participants will hear from 53 speakers across 17 conference sessions, covering topics such as customs reform, artificial intelligence, digitalisation, international trade, regulations, supply chain resilience and changing consumer expectations.
Beyond the conference programme, the forum will also feature an exhibition area where companies can showcase new technologies and services, along with pre-arranged business meetings designed to help attendees build new partnerships.
This year’s theme, “Freight meets Magic,” will run throughout the event, from the opening networking reception to the gala dinner and the LAB Area, where visitors will be able to explore the latest innovations for air cargo and e-commerce logistics.
As cross-border e-commerce continues to evolve, organisers hope the forum will once again provide a place for industry leaders to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges and explore new business opportunities.
