LOT Polish Airlines is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia with two new direct connections from Warsaw to Bangkok and Hanoi, opening additional opportunities for air cargo customers and freight forwarders operating between the region and Europe.
The Warsaw–Bangkok service is scheduled to begin on 7 October 2026, while the new Warsaw–Hanoi connection will follow on 31 March 2027. Beyond strengthening LOT Polish Airlines’ passenger network in Asia, the routes will provide additional belly cargo capacity and improve connectivity between Thailand, Vietnam, Poland and destinations throughout Europe.
For the air freight and forwarding community, the new services will create additional options for moving shipments through LOT’s Warsaw hub. Cargo originating in Bangkok and Hanoi will be able to connect onward to destinations across Central, Eastern and Western Europe, adding flexibility to existing Asia–Europe routing options.
Thailand and Vietnam are among Southeast Asia’s most dynamic manufacturing, export and logistics markets. The introduction of direct LOT Polish Airlines services is therefore expected to strengthen access to European markets for exporters, importers and freight forwarders in both countries while providing additional belly capacity for growing trade flows.
Warsaw will play a central role in this expansion. Through LOT Polish Airlines’ hub, shipments from Bangkok and Hanoi will gain access to the carrier’s wider European network, giving customers additional routing possibilities into Central, Eastern and Western Europe.
The new connections will also improve options for Europe-originating cargo moving in the opposite direction, supporting the growing trade relationship between Europe and Thailand and Vietnam.

Group Concorde to Support LOT Cargo’s Development in Thailand and Vietnam
LOT Cargo will also have local commercial support in both markets through Group Concorde, its Cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in Thailand and Vietnam.
Group Concorde will support LOT Cargo’s commercial development, sales and customer activities as the airline prepares for the launch of the new services. Its local teams will work with freight forwarders and logistics partners, using established market relationships to develop the routes, generate sustainable cargo flows and provide dedicated commercial support to customers.

The addition of Bangkok and Hanoi will further expand LOT Cargo’s ability to serve trade flows between Asia and Europe while giving freight forwarders additional capacity, routing choices and connectivity through Warsaw.
With both launches approaching, Group Concorde and LOT Cargo will work closely with customers and commercial partners to develop the markets and prepare for the successful introduction of the new services.
The expansion ultimately gives LOT Cargo a stronger platform in two strategically important Southeast Asian markets, while creating additional links between Thailand, Vietnam and the European air cargo network through Warsaw.
