TAAG Angola Airlines is to expand its African network with a new route connecting Angola and Cape Verde set to launch in December. The service will link Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) with Nelson Mandela International Airport (RAI) in Praia, Cape Verde’s capital.
The launch of this route is yet another important milestone in the airline’s international expansion strategy, while supporting the broader efforts to enhance air connectivity across the African continent.
The new link is expected to bring the two nations closer as it will enable their people to interact more strongly with each other apart from being very important in terms of operations. It also provides an opportunity to strengthen the links with the Portuguese-speaking markets in Africa.
The addition of Praia to its destination network will allow TAAG to further strengthen its presence in the Community of Portuguese Language Countries. The new service complements the airline’s existing operations to Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe, extending its reach across key Portuguese-speaking markets.
