UPS has reinforced its global air cargo network with the launch of a new direct route between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). This five-times-weekly service is designed to enhance trade between Europe and Asia, offering faster, more reliable freight solutions for French exporters.

Strengthening Trade Between France and Asia

As Hong Kong remains a key gateway to the Asian market, this new air route will:

  • Boost exports from France, particularly in luxury goods, wine, food products, and aerospace components.
  • Support the growing demand for express logistics services, especially in e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and high-value industries.
  • Improve supply chain efficiency, providing shorter transit times and increased cargo capacity for businesses relying on fast international shipping.

Meeting the Evolving Needs of Global Supply Chains

With global trade routes constantly evolving, UPS continues to invest in air freight connectivity to provide competitive logistics solutions. Michiel van Veen, Cluster Manager for Benelux and France at UPS, highlighted the impact of this new route:

“With this new flight path, we can provide French businesses of all sizes with the fast and reliable service they need to stay competitive. Today’s consumers demand efficiency, and our logistics network allows companies to turn shipping into a competitive advantage.”

A Strategic Move for UPS’s Global Expansion

UPS’s continued investment in its air freight network strengthens its position as a leader in international logistics, allowing customers to:
✔ Access faster and more cost-effective shipping solutions.
✔ Expand into new markets in Asia with enhanced reliability.
✔ Optimize their supply chains with greater flexibility in freight transport.

As the demand for efficient global shipping continues to rise, UPS’s latest air cargo route reinforces its commitment to connecting businesses worldwide with innovative, high-performance logistics solutions.
