oll Group has named Robert Reiter as new Group Managing Director, effective 1 July 2026. Reiter will take on the leadership role while continuing to serve as President of Global Forwarding, ensuring continuity across the organisation during a key phase of its development.
In his new position, Reiter will be responsible for defining and executing the Group’s strategic direction, while overseeing overall business performance and long-term value creation. His mandate includes aligning the company’s various business units, driving sustainable growth, enhancing competitiveness and positioning Toll Group to capitalise on emerging opportunities across global supply chains.
Working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team, Reiter will focus on strengthening operational performance, accelerating transformation initiatives and supporting the company’s next stage of growth.
A proven logistics leader
Reiter joined Toll Global Forwarding in August 2025 and currently serves as President of the division. Since taking up the role, he has played a key part in strengthening customer relationships, improving regional operations and leading transformation programmes across the business.
His appointment brings decades of logistics and freight forwarding expertise to the Group’s top leadership position. Throughout his career, Reiter has held senior leadership roles at major global logistics companies, including Kuehne + Nagel, Panalpina, DB Schenker and DHL.
Beyond freight forwarding, he also brings extensive experience across end-to-end supply chain operations, including contract logistics and integrated logistics solutions.
Confidence in leadership and transformation
Thomas Knudsen, Executive Chairman of Toll Group, said Reiter’s appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in his leadership capabilities and his understanding of the business.
“Robert is a proven leader with deep knowledge of our business, customers, and operations. His appointment as Group Managing Director reflects our strong confidence in his leadership and his ability to drive the Group’s continued growth, performance, and transformation. We are pleased to have him lead Toll through its next phase,” said Knudsen.
Reiter said he was honoured to take on the position at an important moment for the company and highlighted the opportunities ahead for the organisation.
“We have strong capabilities, dedicated people, and significant opportunities ahead. I look forward to working closely with our teams, customers, and partners to build on our momentum and continue delivering strong outcomes for our customers and stakeholders,” he said.
Toll Group confirmed that a structured transition plan has been put in place to ensure business continuity for customers, employees and partners as Reiter assumes his expanded responsibilities.
