DELTA, B.C. – Construction of Walker House in North Delta has reached a significant milestone, with the project team completing the tower’s final concrete pour and officially marking the structural completion of the 29-storey highrise.
With the concrete structure now in place, construction will move into the next phases of the project, focusing on the building envelope, interior work and finishing, according to a project release.
Located at the intersection of 20th Street and Scott Road, Walker House is set to offer studio, one- and two-bedroom concrete homes. The development will also include approximately 17,000 square feet of amenities designed to support residents’ fitness, work and leisure needs.
Among the planned amenities is a rooftop deck, along with an outdoor basketball court and a fitness facility. Residents will also have access to a coworking lounge featuring private booths, a communal work table, soft seating and a private meeting room capable of accommodating up to 10 people.
On the main floor, an entertainment lounge will provide an additional shared space, featuring a double-sided fireplace, television and kitchenette with a dedicated dining area.
