Multimodal 2026 is set to bring together the UK freight, logistics and supply chain sector for one of its largest gatherings to date, taking place from 30 June to 2 July 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.
Following a record edition in 2025, which saw a 4% increase in visitor numbers, the 2026 event is expected to be the most connected and comprehensive yet. It will also be the flagship event of UK Logistics Week 2026.
Across three days, the exhibition will feature hundreds of exhibitors representing freight, logistics and supply chain companies across multiple transport modes and more than 15 industry sectors. Attendees will also have access to five conference theatres hosting over 80 sessions covering key industry themes.
These include artificial intelligence in logistics, net zero strategies, customs compliance, supply chain resilience, mental health in the workplace, and the development of future logistics talent.
The event will also offer premium networking opportunities, including the Multimodal Mixer drinks reception on Wednesday, open to all participants. The Multimodal Awards will take place on the evening of 30 June at The Vox Conference Centre, hosted by comedian Rory Bremner, followed by an after-show party.
A new fully web-based event app will also be introduced, allowing attendees to access schedules, exhibitor directories, live updates, and messaging tools without downloading software.
The conference programme will host more than 80 sessions with industry leaders and experts. Confirmed speakers include John Trenchard from DP World on sustainable international supply chains, Kathryn Oldale from DB Cargo on UK rail policy, and Caroline Rowden from the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade on trade volatility and compliance.
Other contributors include Peter Roberts from LeShuttle Freight on zero-emission logistics strategies, Andrew Page-Dove from National Highways on AI adoption and labour challenges, and Laurent Devulder from the Port of Boulogne Calais on supply chain resilience and the ABCD axis.
The final day of the event will focus on the future workforce of the logistics industry. Students from schools and colleges will tour the exhibition floor as part of a dedicated skills initiative featuring workshops, talks from apprentices and graduates, and direct engagement with employers and HR professionals. Organisations involved include Logistics UK, BIFA, UKWA, CILT and the Cold Chain Federation.
Multimodal 2026 is part of UK Logistics Week, which brings together Multimodal, Warehouse, Yard and eDX at the NEC Birmingham, alongside The Road Transport Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh, aiming to unify the UK logistics ecosystem.
Multimodal Show Director Robert Jervis described the event as a key meeting point for the industry, emphasizing its scale and accessibility: “Multimodal 2026 is the must-attend event for anyone working in freight, logistics and supply chain. Three days, five conference theatres, hundreds of exhibitors, world-class networking – and it’s completely free to attend. Register now and make sure you’re in the room where the industry’s most important conversations are happening.”
