ACC Aviation has appointed Jack Burt as Senior Vice President of Cargo, as the group moves to strengthen and scale its global cargo charter offering.
Burt joins with more than 18 years of experience in the international air cargo market, having previously held senior roles at specialist aviation companies including Chapman Freeborn and Air Partner. Across that period, he has developed an extensive industry network and built experience in delivering competitive cargo solutions for complex supply chain needs.
ACC said his arrival comes at a key point in the company’s development as it expands its cargo charter services and enhances transportation capabilities for clients worldwide. In his new role, Burt will lead the next phase of growth in the cargo division, with responsibility for increasing market presence, deepening strategic partnerships and further building the company’s specialist capabilities in time-critical, oversized and complex cargo movements.
The company also said Burt will work closely with ACC’s global network to strengthen its integrated service model across charter, ACMI and consultancy, helping to ensure a consistent standard of service across the broader group.
Phil Mathews, CEO of ACC Aviation, described the appointment as timely for the business, saying Burt’s experience across leading cargo charter organisations makes him well positioned to support the continued development of the company’s service offering.
Burt said he was joining ACC at an important stage in its evolution and sees a strong opportunity to build a best-in-class cargo charter proposition supported by the company’s integrated capabilities.
