Atlantic Gate is reinforcing its regional leadership structure with two senior appointments designed to support the freight forwarder’s continued expansion across major international markets.

The company has appointed Özgür Al as CEO Region Europe & Americas, based in Geneva, while Grégoire Daudé has joined the organisation as Deputy Head Asia, based in Hong Kong. According to Atlantic Gate, the appointments will strengthen its regional organisations and contribute to the company’s ongoing development in strategically important markets.

In his new position, Özgür Al will oversee Atlantic Gate’s activities across Europe and the Americas. He will work closely with regional teams and Group leadership, with responsibility for business performance, customer development and operational execution throughout the region.

Al brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in logistics, shipping and supply chain management. He joins Atlantic Gate from DB Schenker Arkas Logistics in Istanbul, where he held the positions of Managing Director and Board Member.

Before joining DB Schenker Arkas Logistics, Al held senior leadership positions at Hamburg Süd. His career has included extensive work in building businesses, expanding regional operations and generating profitable growth across Europe, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

Atlantic Gate is also strengthening its Asian organisation with the appointment of Grégoire Daudé as Deputy Head Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Daudé will lead the company’s business across Southeast Asia and India, working alongside local teams and regional leadership.

His responsibilities will include supporting commercial development, improving regional performance and helping Atlantic Gate advance its growth ambitions across Asia.

Daudé joins the company from CMA CGM Hong Kong, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Hermes, CEVA Logistics and DHL, building broad expertise in commercial management, business development and supply chain solutions across Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Atlantic Gate Group CEO Yuri Valazza welcomed both executives, highlighting their industry expertise and customer-oriented approach as the company enters another phase of development.

“I am pleased to welcome Özgür and Grégoire to Atlantic Gate. Both bring strong industry expertise, proven leadership, and a clear customer focus,” Valazza said.

He added that their experience will be important as Atlantic Gate continues to expand, particularly in strengthening relationships with customers and partners, supporting country organisations and identifying new opportunities across the company’s key markets.

Valazza also said he looked forward to working closely with both executives as Atlantic Gate continues to grow its business.
