Syria’s US$6 billion airport push

Syria is preparing a major overhaul of its aviation infrastructure, with an estimated US$6 billion positioned across its airport sector as early-stage concession frameworks advance in Damascus and Aleppo.  The largest component is a reported US$4 billion build–operate–transfer concession structured for Damascus International Airport.
